I don't like all the rumors that are going around about Favre proving because he went to an event or not indicates Favre's comeback.

But ESPN is reporting that Favre contacted McCarthy about coming back. This would be big news and much more serious than any other rumors going around.

Here is the link. I love Favre, but I just got in the mindset being comfortable with Aaron being the guy for the Packers! Don't torture us Brett, I beleived you when I said you were retiring!

Does Aaron Rodgers hate us?

No.

I'm sure Rodgers isn't mad at the fans, he's mad at all the media types that insist that the fans will turn on him because he isn't Brett Favre. I'll bet that on draft day in 2005, ESPN started working on its "Brett Favre retirement/Aaron Rodgers scrutinization" programming.

Seriously, look at how many times Brett Favre has been mentioned on Sportscenter or PTI. "Brett Favre hasn't filed his retirement paperwork!" "Brett Favre dropped out of his celebrity golf tournament!" "Brett Favre bought a bottle of Advil at the grocery store!" All of these quotes inevitably lead to the same tired question: Is Favre coming back?

Brett's Hall of Fame status aside, put yourself in Aaron's shoes; wouldn't you simply hate being constantly subjegated to this kind of treatment? Thank God that McCarthy has committed to Rodgers as the starter already, otherwise this guy's confidence would be in jeopardy.

So no, he's not mad at the fans. Most of the real fans (fans who miss Brett but understand he had to go sometime and will continue following the team) are behind Rodgers, he knows that. It's the media types that keep asking Favre-related questions and making outrageous statements on television, radio, or the Internets.

I vote that we, the fans, set up a petition to act as a 'vote of confidence' for our new QB. In fact, I just might start that myself (although the site admins would be more knowledgeable on such matters.)

Keep your chin up, Aaron. We've got your back.

According to ESPN.com, Green Bay has inquired about availability of star defensive end and dancing fiend Jason Taylor. Taylor, who will turn 34 in September, was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year last season (on the worst team in the league) and deservedly so.

Green Bay sure could use a defensive lineman of Taylor's skill level after trading Corey Williams to Cleveland and KGB's offseason knee surgery. It's not like Ted Thompson to trade for a player using draft picks, but it seems that the Dolphins are looking for a 2nd rounder as compensation.

ESPN.com's Chris Mortensen writes that the deal has Ron Wolf's prints all over it. Wolf, of course, was responsible for putting the 1996 championship team together, and also he served as a mentor for current GM Ted Thompson.

In the event this trade does happen, Green Bay would be putting out a defensive front of Taylor and Kampman at the ends, Pickett and Cullen Jenkins at the tackles, with KGB, Justin Harrell, Johnny Jolly, et cetera filling out the rotation.

Wow. Sure seems like it'd be worth a second round pick to me.

I just heard it announced on NFL Live on ESPN.

It makes me sad to see Koren Robinson go. Here's a guy who had made some bad choices, gotten in trouble, decided to right himself, and he made a full comeback to the league. It's a story that not many people really know because all we hear is the bad stuff that happens; Koren Robinson is an example of a good thing not just in sports, but life in general.

That said, from a football perspective, this move makes perfect sense. Koren is a skilled player, no doubt about it. But take a look at the new kid:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIUu-nLx0lw

Jordy Nelson can flat out play. There is a spot for him on this roster, which means there's less room for the other recievers. Sad truth to the statement "the NFL is a business".

First of all, I need to say that I trust Ted Thompson. Over the past 3-4 years, he has built this team into an NFC contended. His methods might be unconventional, but they are working.

Onto the actual draft: I <em>hated</em> that T-squared traded out of the first round. Yes, it was smart financially and yes, it only moved them from 30 to 35. But the player (arguably) he was targeting was Brandon Flowers, who almost made it but got snapped up by the KC Chiefs at 34. Flowers was an excellent player that could shore up the CB position, especially as Al Harris and Charles Woodson get older.

That all said, I <strong>loved</strong> the Jordy Nelson pick. The kid is a straight-up baller and will be a valuable contributor when Donald Driver starts to decline. Between him, Jennings, Jones, and Koren Robinson, the WR position should be stacked for years and years.

I was confused by the Brian Brohm pick at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. It gives Green Bay a little more national exposure, but it has people focusing on the so-called "controversy" at QB. A-Rodg is going to be a fine player, Brohm will make a superb backup and (probably) excellent trade bait down the road. I see this situation playing out a lot like the Mike Vick-Matt Schaub situation in Atlanta a few years ago. Hopefully Rodgers can play the Vick role without all the extracurriculars, and we can turn Brohm into major draft ammunition.

Patrick Lee was a great value pick and, if he can learn what Al Harris and Charles Woodson have to teach, he'll make a solid replacement for when they're gone. The two O-linemen taken were also puzzling, one of them wasn't even featured on espn.com's scouting report. But, Teddy's made it work before.

All in all, I think this draft was overlooked by the majority and undervalued by the experts who did look at it. A B/B- from Mel Kiper's Hair today fits perfect; the team didn't fill any huge needs or draft any major college superstars. But the 2008 draft class for the Pack is going to go a long way to solidifying the team with young talent and keep them in contention for a long time.

 	<fieldset class="poll-box">
  <legend>Poll</legend>

What do you look for in a draft?

Players that might have had average college careers but major upside and a few seasons to develop.

Hey Acme Packing Company,

Today is the big day. We've switched your community over to the new SB Nation sports blog platform. My name is Trei, and I'm here to help you get adjusted to the new home we've built for you. If you have questions or trouble with the new system, post a comment in this thread and myself or one of the team (lovitt, sixfoot6 or odacrem) will try to point you in the right direction.

Before we begin, I want to let you know we still consider this a beta platform, so don't be surprised if you find a few bugs or if everything isn't exactly right yet. We hope you'll take the time to report any problems you encounter at bugreport@sbnation.com. We'll be continuing to make changes and improving things.

Please take a few minutes to read about what's new below. But if you just can't wait to jump in, here are some quick things to check out:

Sign up for your SB Nation network account and claim your old blog accounts

Once you're logged in, press your Z key in any thread with new comments

Explore your dashboard and setup your profile

Read the guide to the new FanPost editor

Install the FanShot bookmarklet and post videos to Acme Packing Company from YouTube or images from Flickr

Click the "Rec" button on posts and comments to help other people find the good stuff.

Customize display options on your Edit Settings page

What Has Changed

SB Nation Network Accounts - the Big Change

Readers across all of our blogs told us they wanted one account to use on every SB Nation blog. To make this work, we're requiring that everyone create a new SB Nation network account. In most cases you should be able to keep your old username, but a few of you may have to choose something new, since every other community in SB Nation will be going through this same transition. We tried to be as fair as possible in deciding who gets to keep which name, using a formula that takes into account length of membership and frequency of activity.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to participate on all of our blogs, but we don't want to encourage everyone to start visiting rival team blogs and initiating flame wars. To maintain friendly communities we ask that you explicitly join each blog in order to participate. It's a two-click process, but it does means accepting each blog's community guidelines. Just as you join each blog individually, you can be banned on each blog individually.

You can claim old accounts from multiple SB Nation blogs, and your new username will be retroactively attached to all your old comments and diaries. So now you'll be able to access all your writings from your single profile page... like magic.

To get started, click here to claim your old blog accounts and create a new SB Nation network account.

FanPosts (the Section Formerly Known as Diaries)

We changed their name. Why? Because we took this major upgrade as an opportunity to leave behind some vocabulary that never made much sense for a sports blog. SB Nation is the network of, by and for fans, and these are the blog posts we make. So we call them FanPosts. When you're at a bar telling someone to check out your online sports opinions, you don't have to suggest they read your diary.

FanPosts are displayed differently on the homepage - we include your avatar to give more credit for the time you spend writing great posts. The new post editor has a WYSIWYG view that provides easy formatting. It also auto-saves drafts so you don't have to worry about losing your work when you compose a post within the web browser. And you can now associate teams, players and games with your posts: these tools promote your FanPosts on our new team, player and game pages - across the entire network.

The new system does not work like the old diary editor. For example, in HTML mode the new editor doesn't auto-create a new paragraph from two line breaks. But it does offer a whole array of new features. Look for the blinking help button on the right side of the FanPost editor for quick tips, and take a look at our full guide to writing FanPosts on the new platform.

IMPORTANT - if you write your posts in Microsoft Word or some other off-line editor, you will get the most reliable behavior if you cut & paste your post into the HTML view of the FanPost editor. And if you do that, remember to wrap <p></p> tags around each paragraph so your text doesn't run together.

Visual Redesign

This one is probably the most obvious change of all. Like other major websites working to improve readability for their audience, we've adopted a fixed-width layout optimized for the 1024 x 768 resolution used by the majority of Acme Packing Company and SB Nation network users. Use the switcher below the user menu if you prefer the wider layout designed for 1280 monitors. We've introduced a top navigation bar with quick links into old and new sections of the site. We also polished a few edges, made some things larger, others smaller and moved a few boxes here and there. More changes and adjustments to come.

Search

We've completely replaced the old search engine with a new one. We're excited to make it easier to find old posts and comments, but we've only taken our first pass on the tools we're offering. We're focused on making search even better than what you had before, so please know that we're aware search is missing key features and we're working on it.

What's New

Schedule, Scores, Stats and Roster

Acme Packing Company now has all the basic information about the Green Bay Packers and hundreds of other teams. During games you'll see a regularly updated line score, and as the season progresses we'll track team stat totals and leaders. This is just our first step, so look for us to publish more detailed and archival stats in the future. The best part about all this sports data is that we've integrated it directly into the blog so. We now have special pages that aggregate all blog posts written about games, players and teams.

Recommending FanPosts

Some writing deserves more attention and more conversation. If you want to bump a FanPost up to the top and keep it there for awhile, just click the 'Rec' link under the body of the post. When a FanPost receives enough recommendations it will make the recommended list.

Auto-refreshing Comments

You no longer need to refresh the page to see new comments. If you're logged in, new comments will automatically appear on the page every few seconds. When you post a comment, the page will not refresh either. If you want to quickly cycle through all the new comments, you can press the C key on your keyboard. Unmark a new comment after you've read it with the X key. And use the Z key if you want to umark comments as you're cycling through them.

As you use these shortcuts to cycle through comments, press the R key to reply to the current comment. All these helpful keyboard shortcuts are listed at the top of each comments section for reference.

Recommending Comments

Now you can reward those folks who take the time to look up stats and make smart arguments in the comments. Next to each comment there is an 'actions' link that you can click to find the recommend and flag options.

Flagging Comments

To help the moderators on a site, we've built-in tools that let you flag comments that are spam, trolling or just plain inappropriate. Only moderators can see those flags.

FanShots

Many members of the community just want to post that one link, video, photo or quote, but don't need a full FanPost. We've got you covered: FanShots let you share YouTube videos, Flickr or PhotoBucket photos, quotes from articles, portions of chat transcripts, top 5 lists and simple links. If it's a video or image we'll put a thumbnail on the homepage when you post it.

For those of you who are experienced internet hunter-gatherers of Green Bay Packers material, install the bookmarklet onto the links bar of your browser and share FanShots with the community from wherever on the web you find that killer quote or photo.

Archives

It's much easier to find that post about a certain deadline trade or prospect retro feature. You can browse by year and month.

Avatars

Upload an image so folks can see your custom avatar on your profile, your FanPosts, and all your comments.

Network Profiles

Now that we have unified SB Nation network accounts, your profile will be your central hub for all of your activity on any blogs where you are a member.

Network bar

The top bar stays with you on all SB Nation blogs. It's a quick way to login and logout. When you're logged in, you'll see your avatar and screen name which links to your profile. The icon to the right leads to your Dashboard area where you can edit your settings, profile, account details and any FanPosts or FanShots you've published. As we add more blogs to the new SB Nation network, the My Blogs menu will be a handy way to navigate between the blogs you've joined.

-------

There are plenty more small changes and additions we've made, so please take a careful look around and explore this new system. We appreciate your patience and hope you'll help us improve the new platform for this and all the other SB Nation blogs.

And in case you missed it, you'll want to start by claiming your old blog accounts and creating a new SB Nation network account.

Apparently, the Packers are talking to Dante Culpepper?

Good grief. Is this what it will come to? I don't dislike the guy because he was with the Vikings at one time - the guy gets tunnel vision after he gets hit once and it's all over after that.

Man, if this is all that's left of QB talent, just find someone new and start from there.

Input for Mock Draft

I'm looking for some input on a mock draft we are holding at milehighreport.com.

Greetings!

My main passion is the Broncos, but over at milehighreport.com we are going to be doing a mock draft, and I chose to represent the Pack, another team I like.

Now, I have some decent knowledge of Green Bay, but not nearly as much as I know the Broncos. As I see it, tight end, defensive tackle (with loss of Williams), CB, and a backup QB are the biggest needs going into the draft.

At tight end, Bubba Franks is not the biggest loss in the world, but the positional depth behind Lee is now non-existent, and the "safety valve" cliche may make this an important position for Rodgers.

At corner, the starters are definitely aging and there are a couple of good young guys that may be ready to step into starting roles but having some depth to challenge them would be a good idea.

At defensive tackle, obviously the loss of Williams hurts. There are some capable tackles on the roster, but they could use a new face to challenge them for the open starting slot or provide a backup.

At QB, Rodgers will need a backup in his first year as the starter. This need may be better addressed by acquiring an experienced free agent, but the market this year is pretty sparse in the QB department I do believe, so a draft pick might be the best way to get a backup, but probably not with the first round pick.

Positions that appear to be pretty well set to me are LB of any kind, RB, WR (maybe need a guy for depth), safety, DE, K.

As far as the O-line goes, I didn't see enough Packer's games last year to tell who's good and who isn't. I do know the Packer's have switched to a zone block system, and they may still be in the process of acquiring new personnel that is ideal for zone blocking. Any input you guys have for the O-line would be great.

As far as overall draft strategy, the team seems to have a great group of talented young players with a few key veterans. To me, I believe Green Bay would be best served by drafting the best available players, with some consideration to positional need, but mostly I believe the team wants more young players to keep their talent deep and be prepared for smooth transitions when the veterans leave.

So, let me know what you think of my analysis, and add some input. Right now I'm mostly thinking strategically/positionally and not thinking about specific players, I'll probably open another diary to discuss particular prospects at the key positions. Also, please answer the poll, selecting the position you believe has the biggest need.

I was browsing Ben Maller's rumor page today (if you don't know what I am talking about go here, ( http://msn.foxsports.com/rumors ) and came across an interesting rumor.

"If Carolina becomes convinced it can't re-sign Julius Peppers, who becomes an unrestricted free agent next year and wants a boatload of money, and if the Vikings are willing to part with their first-round (No. 17) draft pick next month plus at least $20 million in guaranteed money, Minnesota might be able to trade for the star defensive end." ( http://www.twincities.com/walters/ci_8566370 )

If this is true, this has to be something TT looks into. The Packers are now, what $35 million under the cap, and can you imagine adding a player like Peppers to play alongside Kampman?!? That front line would amazing and would have to be considered one of the best if not the best front line. We all saw what a good front line can do to an offense when the Giants beat the Pats in the Super Bowl. Personally, I am for this trade and at the price of only a first round pick it seems like a deal to me.

Brett and I were born a month a part and have never met. So much of our lives have paralleled one another. My father died a year before Brett's did. When the news broke that his father died and there was speculation Brett wouldn't play. I knew he would play. He had to. Living vicariously through him, he gave a tribute to his father in that game on Monday Night. It was the kind of tribute I wish I could have given my father. On a national stage, with everyone in the country watching.

His struggles with alcohol. His marrage in jeopardy. I'm not proud to say it, but I was there. We both chose our families over alcohol. He just did it in front of the whole world.

Cancer, family tragedies, conflicts with co-workers. All played out in public. Mine played out at home. He just put on his hard hat and grabbed his lunch pale and went to work.

I relate to Brett Favre on a different level than as just a football player. His super human feats on the field were amazing. But maybe 5 guys in history could do those things. He's more than a football player to me because he has lived his life in the public eye the way I would hope to have done it. Puting family first. Working hard and not missing a game. Living with enthusiasm. Taking responsibility for his actions and always trying to get better. I like Brett because of the values he displays.

Enjoy your life Brett. You've earned it.

All of you have probably heard that Chad Johnson wants out of Cincy. Now does that mean they are going to get rid of him, probably not, but it could happen (look at T.O. or Randy Moss). So, that got me thinking about what if the Packers made a trade for him. Think of that receiving corps; Johnson, Driver, Jennings, Jones. IMHO that set of receiver would be devastating to any opposing defense.

I know that TT likes to build through the draft and to get Johnson it would cost alot (first round pick or more), but I think in the long run it might be worth it. Johnson's contract is pretty affordable considering that Packers are $25 million under the cap; $3 million (for 2008), $4.5 million (2009), $5 million (2010) and $6 million (2011).

I know its more than a long shot because the Packers already have a good set of receivers, and the money/picks could be better spent elsewhere i.e. the secondary, but I think this could be a move that would put the Packers over the top.

The Packers, in my opinion, are blessed to have the ownership situation that they are in. Granted, the competitive landscape of the NFL somewhat "allows" the packers to thrive and even buck the system of huge TV markets and megalomanic owners. Revenue sharing and the salary cap are essential and at the heart of the reason that a tiny Wisconsin city can continue to have an NFL franchise...but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Just for a moment, imagine if Al Davis was the owner of the Green Bay Packers--a man who walks around in public wearing clothes that Rick James would scoff at. A man who fired and rehired Art Shell. (It is also well documented that Art Shell's offensive Coordinator ran a bed and breakfast the year before Shell hired him! Bed and breakfasts and NFL offensive systems do go hand in hand.)

Or, imagine if the packers were owned by Daniel Snyder or Jerry Jones--two men with obvious business acumen, but clearly have no business in meddling in football affairs. Their egos know no bounds. The owners of the packers are the fans of the town, but the real movers and shakers are the board of directors--which almost literally function like a corporate board. If the current CEO/GM isn't cuttting it, the board votes you out. You never have to worry about an egotistical owner getting into a public feud with a coach, or something like that. I spent much of my childhood and some teenage years living just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. The Falcons (even in the late 80s and early 90s) were an absolute abysmal franchise to watch and follow. (Now, we all know that Green Bay had a drought in the 70s and 80s, but they obviously made the smart move of hiring Bob Harlan and the rest is history.) Anyway, the falcons always took a back seat to the Atlanta Braves, mostly because the Braves were winning their division every year and had a chance to do something. I can't honestly remember who owned the falcons prior to Arthur Blank, but whoever it was they didn't care about the team. They were involved for the sole purpose of the spoils of owning a professional sports franchise--they weren't interested in making the team better, they were simply interested in owning the team--period.

This is where the parallels with business and a professional sports team tend to inter-twine--only with the packers of course, because we have this board of directors. Corporations are driven by stock prices and profits and, if the current management style is not working, out they go. This model also works GREAT for a sports franchise because it takes the main figurehead out of the equation. Everyone has seen a private business at some point or another that was run by an idiot who drove it straight into the ground because he simply didn't know what he was doing--this type of scenario is nearly impossible with the GB Packers model. If you are deemed incompetent, you get the boot....Unlike the pervading model in the NFL, which features way too many incompetent "football" boobs (like Daniel Snyder and Wayne Hyzenga) running franchises into the ground all by themselves. Our "owner" is not driven by profits and making money--ours is driven by winning games and championships. Our owner recognizes that if we win games and championships the money will come. Success is not a by-product of money...money is a by-product of success!

There may only be one owner in the NFL who is equal to or better than the corporate board of directors "system" that the Packers have...his name is Robert Kraft, and his team has been to 4 Superbowls in the past 7 years. Maybe our board of directors can bring him in as a consultant :)

I was in the stands for the 08 NFC Championship at Lambeau--(with great seats on the 40 yardline 14 rows up.) so I feel it necessary to vent, but vent using emperical data, over this debacle...

FIRST, THE BIG PERSPECTIVE: This was a GOLDEN opportunity to re-establish the Lambeau field mystique. Long suffering during the Mike Sherman era, where we continued to lose in the play-offs at home, this game could have made other teams dread the very thought of coming to Lambeau in January. (The Seattle Game the previous week was fun to watch, but in my opinion everyone thought we would have to go to Dallas anyhow.) So when the NFC Championship was dropped in our lap, the entire town and team got wayyyy ahead of ourselves/themselves. The very fact that the Giants beat us at home, in temperatures that dire, breathed life into other teams' thoughts of beating the packers at Lambeau in the future.

SECOND, THE GAME ITSELF: Our horrendous gameplan reminded me of the Dallas Game where we came out and somehow got away from what we did well and started chucking the ball deep. I didn't even realize until after the game that Ryan Grant only ran the ball 5 times in the 2nd half (including overtime!) One would have thought that if we could not run the ball effectively we would go back to our bread and butter--the quick slant. That never happened either. Al Harris continues to basically not show up in the biggest games (he was also nowhere to be found in the Dallas game this year as well). Now, considering the fact that we could not get pressure on Eli Manning with our front 4, I understand how a cornerback can give up chunks here and there...if you put a bad cornerback (let alone a pro bowl cornerback) out on an island having to cover a receiver who is 6 inches taller than them, you will give up plays. But, I did not see one pass defended by him that night--Buress basically caught every ball and was tackled right away. I may be the first person to say this, but we need a new, young and TALL shut down corner on our team. Al Harris is getting old and the new breed of tall and physical receivers is going to make Harris look silly for the rest of his career. You simply cannot give 6 inches in height when a corner is covering a receiver--this is that Randy Moss syndrome. People marvel at Moss' ability to continually get open--but more often than not the DB covering him is way to short to begin with. All you have to do is time a pass with a lot of air underneath it and allow a tall receiver to snag it out of the air.

THE COACHING: Mike McCarthy is a good coach I believe, but he flat out got out-coached in this one. In his post-game press conference he blamed the execution, not the scheme on the end result. That is a gentle euphamism for "I screwed up, but the players were the ones out there playing so I blame them". Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it--again, he obviously didn't learn much from the Dallas Game. It continues to amaze me that NFL coaches cannot and do not adjust properly at halftime. Not having the talent to adjust accordingly is one thing, but having the talent and not adjusting is another thing entirely...in this case we had the latter--talented players.

FAVRE: All things considered, Favre did ok. His interception in overtime has not been criticized enough by anyone--for this reason: Favre is a 17 year veteran who is essentially a coach on the field. He has played in the same offensive system his entire career in GB, and there is probably not one defensive scheme he has not run into. With that said, his overall vision of the field during the Giants game was terrible--with the microcosym being the interception in overtime. Ryan Grant was WIDE open on that play with no one near him within 15 yards--the fact that Favre did not see that in an NFC championship game, in overtime, deep in his own territory, is very disheartening. Even if he didn't put the ball in the spot that he wanted when he threw to Driver, the decision to throw that pass at that time was simply unexcusable in my mind.

I think Favre will come back for another year. At this point I am indifferent to the whole retirement media circus with him. If he decides to retire we won't be good for a while--people who think Aaron Rodgers can simply step in and take over are delirious. Each time Rodgers has shown flashes of brilliance he gets hurt during the following week (unless the injury reports are just media posturing and the organization doesn't want to risk a nagging injury with him)--correct me if I'm wrong, but you need to play in order to prove your worth in the NFL(?)

WHAT'S NEXT? Kgb should be out the door...he shows flashes of brillance too, but 1 out 10 is 10% which is a pretty bad percentage when it comes to actually showing results. Cullen Jenkins is solid, but just imagine what another powerful defensive end opposite Aaron Kampman would do to our defense! Safety is a question mark too--I like Atari Bigby-alot. He is a hitter, which is what we need, but too often he over pursues and misses tackles completely and he is a liability in pass coverage. Nick Collins is average--but average in the nfl means you should be on the scout team. I am really nervous about our Corners--Woodson is a gamer who plays through injuries, but that is going to catch up to him. Al Harris is a physical, tough corner but continually becomes a no show in big games. He will be 35 next year (or 36?) which is ancient in the NFL, just ask Brett Favre :)

With respect to you, the great fans of the Green Bay Packers, your beloved Packer team and your winning tradition, this diary is aimed toward the loser who posts as packfan.

While, I prefer intellegent sports posts above anything else, I find myself brought down to a vulgar level when this douchebag repeatedly posts diary entries on our site boasting what the Pack will do while putting down my Raiders.

As a Raiders fan, I do enjoy a give and take between fans of other teams, but what I cannot stand is someone who calls a shot and doesn't own up to it when their team falls short.

First you made it a lock that the Packers would finish with a better regular season record than the Cowboys giving them homefield throughout the playoffs.

While I'm still waiting for you to own up to that run of your mouth, you also have to reckon with saying that the Packers would be the NFC representatives in the Superbowl. Most of us would have cheered Brett Farve on to the Superbowl, but your incessant s-talkin' on multiple boards have given us a reason to cheer against the Pack.

When it comes to my Raiders, it is one thing to pile on us when we are down, but to post your baggage on other SB Nation Blogs and not back it up is just tasteless.

Because of this I am calling you out!

The way I see it, you have one of two options.

1.) You either go on ever SB Nation site you spewed your mistruths on and own up to it like a man

or

2.) You hide like a little coward and don't admit that you shouldn't make bold predictions from something you cannot control.

Here's a link for you if you all of a sudden forget how to spell the URL on our site:

http://www.silverandblackpride.com/story/2007/12/9/17402/9130

Oh, and note to the great Packer fans on this board -- in Oakland we leash our dogs and make sure our bitches don't bark. Curb packfan, the only blight in what is the greatness of the Packer Fans.
